spleen
and other
tissues
.
Tartrate-resistant acid phosphatase
is a biomarker for pathological states in which it is over-expressed. Such conditions include
GAUCHER DISEASE

HODGKIN DISEASE

BONE RESORPTION
; and
NEOPLASM METASTASIS.
